Craps: Come Bets

After the shooter rolls his first roll and a point is established, you may make your bet on the come area on the table. Let’s say on the first roll of a dice the shooter rolled a six. The base dealers will mark the point by placing a puck in the square marked six. This means that your pass line bet is on or pertaining to the six. Six you win or seven you lose.

If you want to make a bet on something else but you want the dice to decide which number your bet is on, you put your chip in the come area and the shooter rolls again. Suppose this time a 10 is rolled, your chip in the come is now goes on the 10. Now you have two bets in action, one on the pass line pertaining to the 6 and another on the ten.

Like the pass line if a shooter rolls a 6 before a 7 you win. With a come bet if a shooter rolls a 10 before a 7 you win too. However if a shooter rolls a 7 before a 6 or a 10, then both the pass line and the come bet on the 10 lose. The amount of come bets one can make is unlimited as long as the same shooter is rolling.
